ATTENDANCE POLICY
Students are allowed up to 16 hours (equivalent to 2 full days) absence from the full training; to be made up with alternative assignments related to the missed content. Any time to be made up in excess of the 16 hours will incur a fee of $40 per hour. If such time is not made up, the student will not qualify to take the iHHS and ACHE exams.
WITHDRAWALS
Should a student need to withdraw from a Program; barring unprofessional or criminal behavior, they may apply for a fee refund according to the iHHS refund schedule.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
iHHS understands that unforeseen medical conditions or family emergencies may hinder a student’s progress or cause an absence for some portion of the training hours. However, iHHS does not have the latitude to waive such hours.
If it becomes apparent that a student will be unable to make up missed hours within the calendar established for the student’s Program, special arrangements can be made to allow the student to complete the Program in a subsequent offering. If the student finds it necessary to Withdraw, iHHS will calculate the clock hours completed up to that point. The transcript will show the student’s hours and note the date the student Withdrew. The student may then arrange with the School Director to return during a subsequent Program to finish the certification requirements. Such arrangements are negotiated on an individual basis and are solely at the discretion of the School Director in consultation with the faculty.
CONDUCT POLICY
At the discretion of the Instructor, a student may be dismissed from iHealth Hypnotherapy School for an intoxicated or drugged appearing state of behavior, possession of illegal substances, alcohol, or weapons on the school premises, behavior creating a safety hazard to other persons, disrespectful behavior, disrupting the learning environment, not maintaining an acceptable level of academic or practical skill as determined by the Instructor, or any other action deemed inappropriate by a student in an academic setting.
Such dismissal is effective for the remainder of the course. If the dismissal is for reasons other than academic or practical skill, and the student provides evidence of having remediated or corrected the problem behavior, the student may apply to return to that point in the program within the subsequent year.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
iHHS Requirements for graduation are: 1) Students must achieve at least a 3 on all the 5-point competency rubrics applied throughout the training. 2) The program is designed to be completed within a stipulated calendar, including submission of all assignments. Arrangements for variations to the schedule and deadlines are made only under special circumstances and at the discretion of the School’s director. 3) Students may not sit for the iHHS or ACHE exams unless they have completely paid all their program fees. 4) Students may not take the ACHE exam until they have passed the iHHS exam.
