The Studio of Harmony was created with the intention of promoting harmony to all who enter the space. Completed in December 2008, the Studio was funded by an inheritance from the estate of Dr. Kweethai's father, disbursed exactly 40 years after his death. Chin Yoon Choong received only two years schooling because his parents did not have money for tuition. He was educated, instead, in the university of Life. A self-made engineer, he raised a family of eight children. Dr. Kweethai remembers having little as she grew up, but all eight children had the opportunity to attend university. Her father's dream was that all his children would have the education that was denied him. He died at 50, leaving a thriving business and a legacy. Two older brothers and a sister ran the business and supported the younger siblings. After Mother's demise, and all the children had been established, it was time to dissolve the family business.
Dr. Kweethai is proud to have built this Studio in her Father's memory and as testament to his legacy of nontraditional education. It is her "classroom with no boundaries."
We welcome all who desire to learn and all who desire to teach. The only requirement is that all enter with an open mind and a willing heart. Harmony breeds prosperity. In this spirit we invite you to enjoy our Studio of Harmony with abundant blessings of peace and joy.
